The cabins of this bed and breakfast lodge is located at the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 256 in northwest North Carolina in Ashe County, thirty minutes from Boone, and three miles north of Glendale Springs and the Northwest Trading Post.

Sue & Jerry Davenport have their cabins arranged in a duplex fashion, with a connecting door between the halves. Guests can rent either a half cabin, or a full cabin if needing two separate beds or more space than one side of the cabin provides.

The Mountain View Lodge has up to ten half cabins (or five full cabins), two lodges, and a queen suite. Prices vary from a half cabin costing $72.50 to a full cabin costing $125 per night. Cabin guests are welcomed to come to the lodge for breakfast, when available, for an additional fee. The Lodge rates include breakfast for two and cost $92.50, while the Queen Suite is $95.50 per night.

The town of Glendale Springs is the perfect place to get away from the demands of everyday existence. The mountain terrain and quiet slower paced-way of life could be just the atmosphere you are looking for to unwind and let everything go. The mountain air is sure to invigorate.
